Chain Bracelet

I’ve now made my way through Stage 1 of the Silver program at Jewellery Training Solutions, and am ready to start Stage 2 (out of 10)! This is the first project in this stage. The projects in the first stage were excellent in the skills that they taught, but I will admit they weren’t the most fun projects I’ve done. These get better, and then the third level the fun really begins! This chain project was a lot of fun - after all, chains are my thing!

What were the challenges?

I’m used to doing chains, so there weren’t any real challenges I faced. I did challenge myself to use hard solder for all of it - often for my chains I will use easy since it’s just… easier.

Where could I improve?

Soldering can always be improved, especially on days when the soldering gods are not smiling.

What did I learn?

I was thrilled to learn a new chain pattern!
