The carnation is a flower native to the Mediterranean region and is known for vibrant colors, delicate fringed petals, and a lovely fragrance.  It is the state flower of Ohio, and is the flower for January birthdays. These flowers represent love, especially the red varieties. 

The ring on this charm has been left open (not soldered) so it can be put on a charm bracelet or on a necklace chain. The sterling silver charm is 1/2 inch in diameter and is hand-engraved.
