Marking Template
Project #2 in Stage 1 of the Silver program is a marking template. This is useful for marking settings for the placement of prongs.
What were the challenges?
This project went pretty well. My biggest challenge was simply getting all of the corners squared. And it seemed to take forever to get all of the marking and measuring done!
Where could I improve?
I had to substitute a bur for what was called for in the middle of the piece.
What did I learn?
This was a great lesson in precision marking. I also learned how to find the center of the edge without measuring.
